Security is rapidly becoming a topic of discussion amongst many in the industry concerned with rolling out Fixed Mobile convergence solutions. Many common attacks on the Internet will be augmented by Spam over Internet Telephony [a.k.a. SPIT], Spam on Instant Messaging [a.k.a. SPIM] and other application attacks unique to real-time communications. What issues need to be addressed when looking at Fixed Mobile Convergence? Does the impact of FMC on carrier and enterprise networks require an additional level of security, trust and cooperation? Seshu is moderating the panel and will be joined by Dave Barton of Cingular Wireless, Kyle Forster of Cisco Systems, Andrew Graydon of BorderWare and Bala Subramanian of TMobile.
