Sipera Systems Announces the Appointment of Two New Members to the Advisory Board

Richardson, Texas, November 2, 2005 — Sipera Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. K-P Wilska, and Dr. John Wiorkowski to the Sipera Systems Advisory Board. Mr. Wilska will serve as the chairman of the Advisory Board and Dr. Wiorkowski will lend his considerable talents as an active member of the Advisory Board.

Both Mr. Wilska and Dr. Wiorkowski bring impressive credentials to Sipera’s Advisory Board.

Mr. Wilska is currently a Venture Partner at Austin Ventures. Prior to joining AV, Mr. Wilska had a long and illustrious career at Nokia, holding several senior management positions, including President, North & South America.

Dr. Wiorkowski is a Professor of Statistics in the School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr, Wiorkowski’s research interests include Forecasting, Time Series, Analysis of growth curves and the Application of probability and statistical theory to novel, real world problems.

“Dr. Wiorkowski will work in close association with Sipera’s engineering team to develop innovative new techniques for behavioral modeling of IP communications applications. With his help, Sipera’s IP Communications Security products will contain the world’s best algorithms” said Seshu Madhavapeddy.
