Richardson, TX, February 12, 2007 -- Sipera Systems, the leader in pure security for VoIP, mobile and multimedia communications, today announced it has fortified its management team with the selection of Scott Davis as vice president of worldwide sales and Andy Asava as vice president and general manager of service provider solutions. With the VoIP security market primed to significantly expand this year, Sipera is further prepared to lead the industry through these strategic executive appointments. Asava, through Sipera’s comprehensive real-time security solutions, will enable service providers to securely and seamlessly integrate disparate broadband access technologies. He was previously vice president of CDMA Business Strategy at Nortel, where he held responsibilities ranging from directing Nortel’s 4G wireless strategy to portfolio management of Nortel’s UMTS, CDMA and IMS product lines. Asava has been a trusted technology and business advisor to over 100 carriers globally.

"Andy and Scott bring unique talents and expertise to Sipera and are extraordinary additions to the Sipera management team," said Madhavapeddy. "With these appointments, Sipera is positioned to expand its leadership in the VoIP security market."
