Sipera Systems Announces the Appointment of New CEORichardson, Texas, June 14, 2005 — The Board of Directors of Sipera Systems Inc is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Seshu Madhavapeddy as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer. Sipera Systems delivers comprehensive security systems for protection of session based real-time IP applications such as VoIP, Video & Multimedia. Sipera was founded in late 2003 by Krishna Kurapati, who is serving as Sipera's Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. In February 2005, Sipera completed a $6.3 million round of venture financing, led by Austin Ventures and Star Ventures. The funding has empowered Sipera to accelerate its efforts of getting the products into commercial deployment by late 2005.
