Break Out Session: Deploying Session Border Controllers and low-risk secure VoIP and Unified Communication Secruity solutions.
This presentation will review real-world deployments of SBCs, and secure VoIP and UC applications that reflect an emerging set of best practices which enable enterprises to capture the cost benefits of VoIP and UC, while maintaining essential security postures. Session Border Controllers (SBCs), VoIP and Unified Communications security (UC) have long held the promise of dramatically reducing enterprise communications costs. However, more and more workers are using personal smartphones, tablets, and other computing devices in the workplace, leaving many organizations struggling to catch up with securing and supporting these devices for all internal and external UC end-points. These wireless and Internet connected devices present their own unique security challenges that dramatically differ from traditional communications and data security methods that rely on firewalls, user authentication, and encryption.
